Sfurti Sthal is located near Gharda Circle, Dombivli East. Its a memorial built in the honor of our beloved Dombivlikar – Vinay Kumar Sachan who sacrificed his life for our country.
He was a student of Sister Nivedita School and did his graduation in B.Sc. from K. V. Pendharkar College.  He lost his life while fighting with terrorist on 24 March 2003. Vinay, a captain with the 27 Rashtriya Rifles. Born on 13 JAN 1977 in Lucknow and shahid on 24 MAR 2003.
He cleared Combined Defense Services exams and join 5 Maratha Light Infantry. He was then a Captain of 27 Rashtriya Rifiles. In Baflyaz village of J&K, while fighting with terrorist, he killed 2 terrorist before he lost his life.
Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) built this memorial in the name of Captain Vinay Sachan.
Indian Army’s Vijayanta Tank is displayed at Sfurti Smarak. This tank was used in 1971 India-Pakistan war. It was used by 66th Armoured Regiment of Indian Army.
Sfurti Smarak also has a war museum showcasing some of guns, medals, details of few army soldiers, Wagha Border replica, etc.
